JAMES M. OLSEN

Professor James Olson received his law degree from the University of Iowa. He is a Professor of the Practice at the Bush School, where he teaches courses on intelligence, counterintelligence, and national security. He served for over thirty years in the Directorate of Operations of the CIA, mostly overseas in clandestine operations. In addition to several foreign assignments, he was Chief of Counterintelligence at CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia.

In a career spanning over 40 years, Lynn has worked in the ag retail and crop protection manufacturer space, including sales, marketing and management in various states.

Jean joined CNI in the fall 2022 from a global crop protection provider where she gained over twenty years of industry and distribution experience specializing in customer financial relationships and credit risk management. The majority of this time was dedicated to the wholesale chemistry channel partnering with independent retailers. Jean most recently held the position of West Region Credit Manager, managing credit teams and partnering with retailers and growers.

  • Daytime high temperatures tend to be in the mid to upper 40s with a few of the warmer afternoons getting up into the low to mid-60s. Late night and early morning low temperatures average in the upper 20s with a few colder mornings dipping down into the mid-teens. 
  • Three fun facts  about Nashville:

    • Music City: Nashville earned its “Music City” nickname due to the Grand Ole Opry, the longest-running radio show, starting in 1925.
    • Hot Chicken: The city is the birthplace of the famous spicy “hot chicken,” a dish created out of a revenge recipe that became a local staple.

    • Parthenon Replica: Nashville has a full-scale replica of the Parthenon in Centennial Park, complete with a 42-foot statue of Athena.

  • The hotel is located 7.5 miles from Nashville International Airport, approx. driving time 20 minutes
